CERITAS Chardonnay Trout Gulch Vineyard

The 2018 Chardonnay Trout Gulch Vineyard is very tight and reticent today, even for within the context of this site. Bright saline notes lend energy to a taut Chardonnay that is only showing some of its potential today. A bit of air softens the contours and brings out lovely inner perfume in the candied lemon peel and floral notes. I imagine the Trout Gulch will benefit quite a bit from time in bottle.
