The 2023 Chardonnay Vine Hill Vineyard has slowly unfurling scents of toast, matchstick, honey, spice and a core of peachy fruit. The medium-bodied palate is elegant and refined with intense, softly honeyed flavors and a luxe, silky texture. It’s balanced by vibrant acidity and has a long, latent finish. It will benefit from several years in the cellar.

The 2023 Chardonnay Vine Hill Vineyard is another super-appealing wine in this range. Orange blossom, apricot, chamomile, baked apple tart and a kiss of French oak all meld together. Resonant and open-knit, the 2023 will be impossible to resist on release. A late leafing on the southern side of the vineyard was a great call in helping the fruit make it over the finish line.
