The permanent return of Laphroaig 15 Year Old carries deep significance for whisky enthusiasts and collectors. Initially launched in 1985, this legendary bottle was discontinued in 2009 and completely disappeared from the core market, becoming a fiercely sought-after cult classic. 

Far from a simple reissue, its revival features a major modern upgrade. While historic 15-year-old bottlings were released at 43% ABV, the modern permanent version is bottled at a more robust 46% ABV without chill-filtration, preserving the whisky's natural oils to yield a noticeably heavier texture and a richer flavor profile.
