TWE 1973 Speyside Blended Malt Scotch 45 Yrs Old 45.1%

Distilled in 1973, the constituent malts from undisclosed, legendary Speyside distilleries were matured independently until 2005 before being married together in a single, massive refill Sherry Butt (Cask No. 6) for an incredibly long finishing period. Limited to a highly exclusive outturn of just 549 bottles worldwide, it was bottled at a natural cask strength of 45.1% ABV without any added coloring or chill-filtration. The release is also famous for a unique interactive element: it includes a small ultraviolet torch that reveals hidden, glowing details about the whiskey’s journey directly on the label.
