Blanton's Chronicles Limited Edition Series

Heads up Blanton's Collectors, here's a special one for you today!

Below you'll find the complete "Chronicles" Limited Edition Series bottled exclusively for La Maison du Whisky in Paris, France. La Maison is one of the premier global retailers of fine & rare whiskys, joining names like Master of Malt (UK). As a result, they receive privileged access to barrels of whisky from famed producers around the world. They've been supporting Blanton's since 1995, and since then, have offered some of the most collectible Blanton's releases. In fact, they're the reason why Blanton's Straight from the Barrel exists (a collaboration between them and Blanton's in 2002), and why it's typically only available in the European market! 

The Chronicles set is special for a couple of reasons. Not only were they "honey" barrels selected by La Maison, but they are also bottled at higher ABVs (i.e., less dilution). Barrel #882 and #883 are actually bottled at cask strength! So, you can think of them as Limited Edition versions of Straight from the Barrel...which don't exist! Barrel #884 and #885 are bottled at 55% ABV, so a bit more concentrated than Blanton's Gold, which is bottled at 51.5% ABV. If you've ever picked up Blanton's Gold & Straight from the Barrel from us, then you know how AMAZING those two expressions are! Most Blanton's drinkers don't even know that Gold & Straight from the Barrel exist, let alone know about these limited edition versions...
